Inverurie Youth Sports Foundation

IYSF is a charitable foundation established in 2015 by the Ferguson family who were inspired to support and promote the future development of young people in sport within the Garioch area, in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

The foundation has been responsible for supporting 61 young talented sports people across 34 different disciplines, providing them with funding to cover training and attendance at UK and international competitions.

Some of the current rising stars receiving support from the foundation include:

Kirsty Muir

Kirsty Muir

Kirsty Muir is a freestyle skier who competes internationally. She competed in the Freestyle Skier, Silver in Big Air at Youth Olympics in 2020, 6th place in Big Air and 8th place in Slopestyle in the Winter Olympics 2022.

Conner Morrison

Conner Morrison

Conner Morrison is a Paraswimmer who recently made the 100m Breastroke S14 final at the Tokyo Paralympic Games and won a European SIlver Medal at the Europeans champs in May 2021.

Evie White

Evie White

Evie is a road, track and cyclecross cyclist. A successful start to the 2022 road season saw Evie win the “Season Starter” event at the Fife Cycle Park, followed by a 6th place in the 1st round of the British Cycling National Junior U23 Womans Road Series.
