With a degree in law and a Masters in Management, Anna joined Aberdeen Asset Management as an Analyst specialising in Corporate Governance. She took up the role of Investment Director at Linton Investments in 2016 and is responsible for managing the investment portfolio on behalf of the Family Office. She has the additional role of Managing Director of Fragrance Group London, one of the businesses within the portfolio, leading the growth of the business through its brand partnerships.
Richard graduated LLB from University of Glasgow in 1980 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick (now KPMG) in 1985. During his career he has held a number of senior Finance roles for large companies, mainly in the food and energy sectors, where he has led multiple transactions and business transformation projects. Immediately prior to joining Linton Investments, he was CFO and latterly CEO of Ferguson Group for five years and oversaw the oil and gas services company being sold to the listed Australian business, Brambles. He joined the Linton family office in 2018 and leads the team, which provides finance and administrative support to many of the businesses across the portfolio.
With more than a decade of experience across the marine, energy and hospitality sectors, James has established himself as a well-respected businessman with a sharp eye for seeking out new opportunities. James has extensive experience in business expansion and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he has held senior positions in Ice Blue Refrigeration and Ferguson Group and currently is CEO of OSSO, as well as sitting on the board of a number of other businesses.
John has extensive experience across several sectors and specialises in operations. John has held senior positions at Ice Blue Refrigeration and Linton Collection, and most recently co-founded Young Spirits Company in 2018. Young Spirits offers customers a full service in bottling, storage and trading of all spirits and has recently launched its own spirits brands. John sits on the board of Linton Investments and also oversees other investments within the portfolio.
Businessman and entrepreneur, Steven most notably built an international offshore oil and gas rental business over three decades and exited the business in 2014. Steven is involved with several businesses in the portfolio, but is also actively involved in agricultural, forestry and environmental interests through the Family Office. Steven actively supports a number of charities and is co-founder of a youth sports foundation.
